Hi, can I buy a GVB Day or Multi Day ticket at the Zaandam Station?
Hi Mattheus, I do not think you can buy one there, since the Zaandam Station is not connected to the GVB network. I would try buying one at Amsterdam Sloterdijk, which is only one stop from Zaandam.
Why is there no track 3, but there is 1,2,4,5?
Track 3 is there, but that is a passage track. Here passing trains can pass if unexpectedly all parrons are full or due to a defect or something similar. So track 3 is there. Platform 3 therefore not.
Does one have a restaurant at the station?
Not at the station itself, but immediately when you leave the station there are various dining options

Yes, there is a parking space behind the station, but (after an hour ?) you have of course already found it.
